- whirlpool note: 71-76°C range gebruiken; 10-45 min, kan in dat tijdsbestek met deksel op de pan, DMS dan verwaarloosbaar; ook met 15-25 minuten goed resultaat, waarbij je bepaalde risico's vermijdt.
- Dryhoppen tijdens hoofdvergisting geeft biotransformatie waardoor fruitige, romige smaakeffecten ontstaan. Voorkomt tevens oxidatierisico. Is eerste dryhop ronde op piek hoofdvergisting.
- lactose toevoegen voor zachtheid (max 1:5, 1 deel lactose op vijf delen water); vooraf inweken.
Lactose toevoegen 10 minuten voor einde kook, of bij nagisting, of bij bottelen. 100 a 300 gram per 10 liter / 10 a 30 gram per liter.
- check water/mout ratio voor recept (2,8 l / kg).
- Imperial yeast A38 niet verkrijgbaar. Neem Wyeast London Ale III of Whitelabs English Dry Ale. Of Fermentis S-33 korrelgist of Lallemand American East Coast Yeast, deze gekozen.</NOTES>
